After graduating in Fine Art from Chelsea school of Art in 1991, I emigrated to Rome (Italy) for eleven years, where I worked as a mural artist and teacher. 

I now live and work in the UK. I teach life drawing at Attenborough Arts and Demontfort University. (Leicester) 

I love to draw and paint the human figure. The physical qualities of paint are still an integral part of my expression, and flesh tones provide an excellent conduit for a painterly response. 

For me, it's about balancing the painterly figurative elements with a good abstract design.
